AMD and ATI both have inexpensive, fully functional, and overclockable processors, which appeal greatly to people who want a lot of bang for buck.
Intel and Nvidia are both barbeques (JK) but seriously, they are good in their own way when it comes to overall performance but just aren’t practical unless you make a large yearly sallary and can pull the money out of your ass (no offence to you). Really though, you are knowledgeable.
@NineLivesProductions Its good to hear that you at least aren’t ignorant. Its true for those who have money to spend that the high end i7′s are perfect for any enthusiast but thats not the majority of people. The other thing is, its is actually much less expensive to buy a sub par i7 or a highend AMD processor, and upgrade every 4 years as opposed to blowing $1000 that could very well buy you up to 3 or 4 CPU’s in the future when the 1000 dollar one becomes out of date.

And spending $1k on a processor is ok for me, good processor will last you longer, you don’t have to keep upgrading your processor. I mean you cant get a quad core Athlon, with an unlocked multiplier for $50! You can’t get that with Intel. I have a quad core Phenom, and Its perfect. It was only $170, if you spend that extra 130 for a decent Intel processor you wouldnt notice a difference. Spending $1000 on an Intel processor isnt practical buddy.

Intel was inviation. What brings me hear is the depenable invaiton of my laptop wich never failed once. I’ve always had a intel laptop and a good name is worth every penney. So impressed with relialbe work I know I can count on Intel.

Now i got a Intel Quad Core 2.66 GHz @ 3.00 GB, And it crashes, Cant be my registry cuz i use registry repair programs, Intel is just trying to show off against AMD, AMD is still my favourite proccessers even if i watch this video and see that the proccesser is fast, You own it 3 days later it will be a peice of shit proccesser Done

@MischievousINC weird, cuz i was watching a commercial, and it said it has 4 USB ports, except, one is in the e-sata port, of you look closely, from underneath the laptop, you can see it says e-sata and USB on the same port, it should have it!!
